“DANIEL SMITH paints are highly pigmented and versatile. Preferring to work with a limited palette, I am able to find pigments that suit my needs perfectly. My washes can be smooth and soothing or granulating and exciting, whichever I prefer for certain subject in my work! I am fond of the fact that DANIEL SMITH has created environmentally friendly Cadmium Hues.”

‘The art of painting should be a personal response and characterization of what is before us and simultaneously in harmony with it. I’d like to see myself as a painter continuing in the tradition of the ‘California Barbizon movement’ of the early 20th Century.
‘The energy, what gives a scene life, I’d like to find. In essence I am trying to paint what cannot be painted! Once I can do that I may be able to paint something of significance..’ —Frank Eber
