I use DANIEL SMITH Extra Fine Watercolors because of their exceptional quality and consistency. Their color is pure and vibrant which allows the paint to retain a tremendous amount of the original luster of the wash as it dries. I’ve always felt that watercolor looks so much better when it is wet and it is a real pleasure to use paint that resists dulling so nicely. The hues are brilliant when used alone and grey wonderfully when mixed with a compliment. I manipulate and interfere with my washes as I work and have found the non-staining transparent colors lift perfectly. If you enjoy working in ranges of tone and color I definitely recommend giving these paints a serious look. From muted delicate passages to bold pops of color and strength DANIEL SMITH Extra Fine Watercolors can handle anything you throw at them. Now roll up your sleeves and get dirty. There are few things more enjoyable in life than making a beautiful mess”
